أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَصْرٍ التَّمَّارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «حُفَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ بِالْمَكَارِهِ وَحُفَّتِ النَّارُ بِالشَّهَوَاتِ»
English Translation
Ahmad bin Ali bin al-Muthanna narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us from Hisham bin Urwah from his father from Aisha who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Modesty is part of faith, and faith is in Paradise. And obscenity is part of hardness of heart, and hardness of heart is in the Fire.'
