أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُقَيْلِ بْنِ خُوَيْلِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا خُنَيْسُ بْنُ بَكْرِ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ سَيِّدَا كُهُولِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ إِلَّا النَّبِيِّينَ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ»
English Translation
Ali narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Abu Bakr and Umar are the leaders of the elderly inhabitants of Paradise, from the first ones and the last ones, except for the prophets and messengers. Do not tell them, O Ali.'
