Umar bin Muhammad al-Hamdani narrated to us, Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Yahya bin Sa'id al-Qattan narrated to us, Shu'ba narrated to us from Sulayman from Dharr from Sa'id bin Abd al-Rahman bin Abza from his father who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, cowardice, miserliness, extreme old age, and the punishment of the grave. O Allah, give my soul its piety and purify it, for You are the best One to purify it. You are its Guardian and Master. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, a heart that does not fear, a soul that is not satisfied, and a supplication that is not answered.'
