أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ* قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَمْعَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يُوشِكُ أَنْ لَا تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُقْبَضَ الْعِلْمُ وَتَظْهَرَ الْفِتَنُ وَيَكْثُرَ الْكَذِبُ وَيَتَقَارَبَ الزَّمَانُ وَتَتَقَارَبَ الْأَسْوَاقُ وَيَكْثُرَ الْهَرْجُ» قِيلَ وَمَا الْهَرْجُ؟ قَالَ «الْقَتْلُ»
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Azdi informed us, Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Uthman ibn Umar narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us from Sa'id ibn Sam'an from Abu Hurayrah from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) who said: "It is imminent that the Hour will not be established until knowledge is taken away, tribulations appear, lying increases, time draws near, markets draw near to one another, and al-Harj increases." It was said: What is al-Harj? He said: "Killing."
