أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْمِنْهَالِ الْعَطَّارُ بِالْبَصْرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكٌ سَمِعَ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أُنْذِرُكُمُ النَّارَ أُنْذِرُكُمُ النَّارَ أُنْذِرُكُمُ النَّارَ حَتَّى لَوْ كَانَ فِي مَقَامِي هَذَا وَهُوَ بِالْكُوفَةِ» سَمِعَهُ أَهْلُ السُّوقِ حَتَّى وَقَعَتْ خَمِيصَةٌ كَانَتْ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ عَلَى رِجْلَيْهِ
English Translation
Muhammad bin Yazid bin Sufyan narrated to us, Ishaq bin Ibrahim al-Hanzhali narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us from Mansur from Hilal bin Yasaf from Abu Ya'la from Abdullah bin Mas'ud who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'There is no one who is more patient with harm he hears than Allah. They attribute a son to Him, yet He gives them health and provision.'
