أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بِبُسْتَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمَّادٍ بِالْبَصْرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أُعْطِيتُ خَمْسًا لَمْ يُعْطَهُنَّ أَحَدٌ قَبْلِي بُعِثْتُ إِلَى الْأَحْمَرِ وَالْأَسْوَدِ وَأُحِلَّتْ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمَ وَلَمْ تَحِلَّ لِأَحَدٍ قَبْلِي وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ فَيُرْعَبُ الْعَدُوُّ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ شَهْرٍ وَجُعِلَتْ لِيَ الْأَرْضُ طَهُورًا وَمَسْجِدًا وَقِيلَ لِي سَلْ تُعْطَهْ وَاخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي فِي الْقِيَامَةِ وَهِيَ نَائِلَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ لَمْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا»
English Translation
Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us in Bust: Hammad ibn Yahya ibn Hammad narrated to us in Basra: My father narrated to us: Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Sulayman, from Mujahid, from 'Ubayd ibn 'Umayr, from Abu Dharr, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I was given five things that no one before me was given: I was sent to both the red and the black; war booty was made lawful for me, while it was not lawful for anyone before me; I was aided by terror, so the enemy is terrified from a month's distance; the earth was made pure and a place of prayer for me; and I was told: Ask and you shall be given. And I have reserved my supplication as intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection, and it will reach, if Allah wills, whoever did not associate anything with Allah.'
