أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّاقِدُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «(لَوْ شِئْتَ لَتَخِذْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا) مُخَفَّفَةً»
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated from Ubayy ibn Ka'b (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he recited: '(Law shi'ta la-ttakhathta 'alayhi ajra) — with takhfif (light form).'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کیا، نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے کہ آپ نے پڑھا: '(لو شئت لتخذت علیہ اجرا) — تخفیف کے ساتھ۔'
