English Translation

Hadrat Abdullah ibn 'Amr (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that when the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) conquered Makkah, he stated: "There is no god but Allah. He fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and defeated the confederates alone. Indeed, every claim of privilege is beneath these two feet of mine, except the custodianship of the Ka'bah and providing water to the pilgrims. Indeed, the victim of accidental killing resembling intentional — the victim of the whip and the stick — his blood money is severe: forty of them (she-camels) with their young in their bellies."
