أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ غَيَّرَ اسْمَ عَاصِيَةَ وَقَالَ أَنْتِ جَمِيلَةُ
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) changed the name of 'Asiyah (meaning disobedient) and said: «You are Jamilah (meaning beautiful).»
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے عاصیہ (نافرمان) کا نام بدلا اور فرمایا: «تم جمیلہ (خوبصورت) ہو۔»
