English Translation
Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan informed us, he said: Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Sami narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salama narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say when he went to his bed: 'Praise be to Allah who fed us, gave us to drink, and sufficed us. How many are there who have no one to suffice them or shelter them.'
