أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ «أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ شَكَيَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْقَمْلَ فِي غَزَاةٍ لَهُمَا فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمَا فِي قُمُصِ الْحَرِيرِ فَرَأَيْتُ عَلَى كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا قَمِيصَ حَرِيرٍ»
English Translation
Hasan ibn Sufyan narrated to us, he said: Hudbah ibn Khalid narrated to us, he said: Hammam narrated to us, he said: Qatadah narrated to us from Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him): «That az-Zubayr ibn al-'Awwam and 'Abd ar-Rahman ibn 'Awf complained to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about lice during one of their military campaigns, so he granted them permission to wear silk shirts. I saw on each one of them a silk shirt.»
Urdu Translation
حسن بن سفیان نے ہمیں خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا: ہدبہ بن خالد نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی، انہوں نے کہا: ہمام نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی، انہوں نے کہا: قتادہ نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی: «کہ زبیر بن عوام اور عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف نے ایک جنگی مہم میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے جوؤں کی شکایت کی، تو آپ نے انہیں ریشمی قمیص پہننے کی اجازت عطا فرمائی۔ میں نے ان میں سے ہر ایک پر ریشمی قمیص دیکھی۔»
