Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ سُمَيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَمْشِي بِطَرِيقٍ وَجَدَ غُصْنَ شَوْكٍ عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ فَأَخَّرَهُ فَشَكَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فَغَفَرَ لَهُ»
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship from the hardships of this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship from the hardships of the Day of Resurrection. Whoever makes it easy for one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and the Hereafter. And whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the Hereafter. Allah is helping the servant as long as the servant is helping his brother."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جو کسی مؤمن سے دنیا کی مصیبتوں میں سے ایک مصیبت دور کرے اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن کی مصیبتوں میں سے ایک مصیبت اس سے دور فرمائے گا۔ جو کسی تنگ دست پر آسانی کرے اللہ تعالیٰ دنیا اور آخرت میں اس پر آسانی فرمائے گا۔ اور جو کسی مسلمان کے عیوب چھپائے اللہ تعالیٰ دنیا اور آخرت میں اس کے عیوب چھپائے گا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ بندے کی مدد میں ہے جب تک بندہ اپنے بھائی کی مدد میں ہے۔"
