أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ خَالَتَهُ أَهْدَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَمْنًا وَأَقِطًا وَأَضُبًّا فَأَكَلَ مِنَ السَّمْنِ وَالْأَقِطِ وَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ مِنَ الْأَضُبِّ تَقَذُّرًا قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «أُكِلَ عَلَى مَائِدَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَامًا لَمْ يُؤْكَلْ عَلَيْهَا»
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that his maternal aunt sent the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) ghee, cottage cheese, and lizards as a gift. He ate from the ghee and cottage cheese but did not eat the lizards out of dislike. Ibn Abbas said: "It was eaten on the table of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and if it were forbidden, it would not have been eaten on his table."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ان کی خالہ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے لیے گھی، پنیر اور گوہ ہدیہ بھیجے۔ آپ نے گھی اور پنیر تناول فرمایا لیکن گوہ ناپسندیدگی کی وجہ سے نہ کھایا۔ ابن عباس نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے دسترخوان پر کھایا گیا اور اگر حرام ہوتا تو آپ کے دسترخوان پر نہ کھایا جاتا۔
