أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُبَادِرُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ بِالسَّلَامِ فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فِي طَرِيقٍ فَاضْطَرُّوهُمْ إِلَى أَضْيَقِهِ»
English Translation
It was narrated from Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Modesty and faith are together; when one of them is removed, the other is also removed."
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "حیا اور ایمان ایک ساتھ ہیں، جب ان میں سے ایک اٹھا لیا جائے تو دوسرا بھی اٹھا لیا جاتا ہے۔"
