Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمُتَبَايعَانِ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا إِلَّا بَيْعَ الْخِيَارِ»
English Translation
Hadrat Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Whoever fights in the way of Allah for the duration of milking a she-camel, Paradise becomes obligatory for him. And whoever is wounded or suffers a scar in the way of Allah, on the Day of Resurrection it will appear as it was on the day it was inflicted — its color the color of blood and its scent the scent of musk. And whoever asks Allah for martyrdom sincerely from his heart, Allah will grant him the rank of the martyrs even if he dies in his bed.»
Urdu Translation
حضرت معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: «جو شخص اللہ کی راہ میں اونٹنی کا دودھ نکالنے کی مدت جتنا لڑے، جنت اس پر واجب ہو جاتی ہے۔ اور جو اللہ کی راہ میں زخمی ہو یا زخم کا نشان پڑے، قیامت کے دن وہ ویسا ہی ظاہر ہو گا جیسا اس دن تھا جب لگا — اس کا رنگ خون کا رنگ اور اس کی خوشبو مشک کی خوشبو۔ اور جو اپنے دل سے خلوص کے ساتھ اللہ سے شہادت مانگے، اللہ تعالیٰ اسے شہداء کے درجے تک پہنچا دے گا اگرچہ وہ اپنے بستر پر مرے۔»
