أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى يَقُولُ «كُنَّا يَوْمَ الشَّجَرَةِ أَلْفًا وَثَلَاثَ مِائَةٍ وَكَانَتْ أَسْلَمُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ثُمْنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ رَحِمَهُمُ اللَّهُ»
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Ali ibn al-Muthanna informed us, Ubaydullah ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, his father narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Fever is from the heat of Hellfire, so cool it down with water.»
Urdu Translation
محمد بن اسحاق بن خزیمہ نے ہمیں بیان کیا، ابوالطاہر نے ہمیں بیان کیا، ابن وہب نے مجھے خبر دی، یونس نے ہمیں ابن شہاب سے خبر دی - اسی معنی میں۔
