أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا صَخْرُ بْنُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَخْطُبُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ حَتَّى يَتْرُكَ الْخَاطِبُ الْأَوَّلُ أَوْ يَأْذَنَ لَهُ فَيَخْطُبُ»
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "A man should not propose over his brother's proposal until the first proposer withdraws or gives him permission to propose."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت ہے کہ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: «کوئی آدمی اپنے بھائی کے پیغام پر پیغام نہ بھیجے جب تک پہلا پیغام بھیجنے والا واپس نہ ہو جائے یا اسے اجازت نہ دے دے۔»
