أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ تَسْنِيمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ حَمْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيَّ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّوْمِ فِي السَّفَرِ فَقَالَ «أَنْتَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شِئْتَ فَصُمْ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَأَفْطِرْ»
English Translation
Abu Ya'la narrated to us, Abu Khaythamah narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from 'Alqamah and al-Aswad, from 'Abd Allah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: «When one of you prays, let him say: Greetings to Allah, prayers and good things. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. For when he says that, it reaches every righteous servant in heaven and earth. I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. Then let him choose from supplications what he likes.»
Urdu Translation
ہمیں ابو یعلیٰ نے خبر دی، ہمیں ابو خیثمہ نے حدیث سنائی، ہمیں جریر نے حدیث سنائی، اعمش سے، ابراہیم سے، علقمہ اور اسود سے، حضرت عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے، انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «جب تم میں سے کوئی نماز پڑھے تو کہے: التحیات للہ والصلوٰت والطیبات، السلام علیک ایھا النبی ورحمۃ اللہ وبرکاتہ، السلام علینا وعلیٰ عباد اللہ الصالحین۔ کیونکہ جب وہ یہ کہتا ہے تو یہ آسمان اور زمین میں ہر نیک بندے تک پہنچتا ہے۔ اشہد ان لا الہ الا اللہ واشہد ان محمدا عبدہ ورسولہ۔ پھر وہ دعاؤں میں سے جو چاہے چنے۔»
