أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَقُولُ «إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيُقَبِّلُ بَعْضَ نِسَائِهِ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ» ثُمَّ ضَحِكَتْ
English Translation
Abu Ya'la narrated to us, Abu Khaythamah narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Ayyub ibn Musa, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite in the first rak'ah of witr: {Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High}, and in the second: {Say: O disbelievers}, and in the third: {Say: He is Allah, the One}, and {Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak}, and {Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind}.
Urdu Translation
ہمیں ابو یعلیٰ نے خبر دی، ہمیں ابو خیثمہ نے حدیث سنائی، ہمیں وکیع نے حدیث سنائی، ہمیں سفیان نے حدیث سنائی، ایوب بن موسیٰ سے، سعید بن جبیر سے، حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے، انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وتر کی پہلی رکعت میں {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الْاَعْلٰی}، اور دوسری میں {قُلْ یٰٓاَیُّھَا الْکٰفِرُوْنَ}، اور تیسری میں {قُلْ ھُوَ اللّٰہُ اَحَدٌ}، اور {قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ}، اور {قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ} پڑھا کرتے تھے۔
