English Translation
Khawlah bint Qays reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to us, and I brought food to him. He put his hand in it and found it hot, so he said: 'Hiss!' And he said: 'The son of Adam, when cold afflicts him, he calls upon his Lord. But when heat afflicts him, he says: Hiss, hiss! Why does he not exercise patience as he makes supplication?'
