أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «صَلَّى بِذِي قَرَدٍ فَصَفَّ النَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ صَفٌّ خَلْفَهُ وَصَفٌّ مُوَازِي الْعَدُوِّ فَصَلَّى بِالصَّفِّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ رَجَعَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ وَجَاءَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً وَلَمْ يَقْضُوا»
English Translation
Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) «prayed at Dhu Qarad. The people lined up behind him in two rows: one row behind him and one row parallel to the enemy. He prayed with the row that was next to him one unit, then these went back to the ranks of those and those came to the ranks of these, so he prayed with them one unit, and they did not make it up.»
Urdu Translation
ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے روایت کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے «ذو قرد میں نماز پڑھی۔ لوگوں نے آپ کے پیچھے دو صفوں میں صف بندی کی: ایک صف آپ کے پیچھے اور ایک صف دشمن کے برابر۔ آپ نے اس صف کے ساتھ جو آپ کے قریب تھی ایک رکعت پڑھی، پھر یہ ان کی صفوں میں واپس گئے اور وہ ان کی صفوں میں آئے، تو آپ نے ان کے ساتھ ایک رکعت پڑھی، اور انہوں نے قضا نہیں کی۔»
