أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ «فِي الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةٌ لَا يُوَافِقُهَا مُسْلِمٌ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ فِيهَا خَيْرًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ»
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to seek refuge in Allah from five things. He would say: «O Allah, I seek refuge in You from cowardice, miserliness, evil old age, the trials of the heart, and the punishment of the grave.»
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پانچ چیزوں سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگتے تھے۔ فرماتے: «اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں بزدلی سے، بخل سے، بری بڑھاپے سے، دل کے فتنوں سے، اور قبر کے عذاب سے۔»
