أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْهُنَائِيِّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنْ قَصْرِ الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا خَرَجَ مَسِيرَةَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَمْيَالٍ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةِ فَرَاسِخَ شُعْبَةُ الشَّاكُّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ»
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that a woman from Khath'am asked the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, my father has become very old, and the obligation of Hajj from Allah has come upon him but he is not able to sit on a mount. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to her: «Perform Hajj on behalf of your father.»
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ خثعم کی ایک عورت نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا اور کہا: اے اللہ کے رسول! میرے والد بہت بوڑھے ہو گئے ہیں اور اللہ کی طرف سے حج کا فرض ان پر آ گیا ہے لیکن وہ سواری پر بیٹھ نہیں سکتے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: «اپنے والد کی طرف سے حج کرو۔»
