English Translation
Umar ibn Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): 'Can a fasting person kiss?' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Ask her,' meaning Um Salamah. She informed him that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to do that. He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, Allah has forgiven your past and future sins.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'By Allah, I am the most fearful of you of Allah and the most knowledgeable of you about what I fear.'
