أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُوتِرَ أَيْقَظَنِي فَأَوْتَرْتُ»
English Translation
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) that she said: 'The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would pray at night while I was between him and the qiblah. When he wanted to pray the witr, he would wake me up and I would pray the witr.'
Urdu Translation
اُمّ المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: 'نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم رات کو نماز پڑھتے اور میں آپ اور قبلے کے درمیان ہوتی۔ جب آپ وتر پڑھنا چاہتے تو مجھے جگاتے اور میں وتر پڑھتی۔'
