أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ»
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade wrapping oneself in a garment in the manner of al-Samma (covering the entire body with no opening for the hands).
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے صماء طریقے سے لپٹنے سے منع فرمایا (یعنی پورے جسم کو اس طرح لپیٹنا کہ ہاتھوں کی کوئی جگہ نہ رہے)۔
