أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ السَّبَّاكُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ لَمْ يَخْرُجْ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثًا فَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَذَهَبَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يتَقَدَّمُ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالْحِجَابِ فَرَفَعَهُ فَلَمَّا وَضَحَ لَنَا بَيَاضُ وَجْهِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَا نَظَرْنَا مَنْظَرًا قَطُّ أَعْجَبَ إِلَيْنَا مِنْ وَجْهِ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ﷺ حِينَ وَضَحَ لَنَا قَالَ فَأَوْمَأَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِيَدِهْ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنْ تَقَدَّمَ قَالَ «وَأَرْخَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْحِجَابَ فَلَمْ يَقْدِرِ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى مَاتَ ﷺ»
English Translation
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not come out to us for three days. The prayer was called, and Hadrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be well pleased with him) went forward to lead. Then the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) lifted the curtain, and when the whiteness of the face of the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) appeared to us, we had never seen a sight more pleasing to us than the face of the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) when it appeared to us. The Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) gestured with his hand to Abu Bakr to go forward. Then the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) let down the curtain, and we could not see him again until he passed away (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم تین دن ہماری طرف تشریف نہ لائے۔ نماز کی اقامت ہوئی تو حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ آگے بڑھے۔ پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے پردہ اٹھایا۔ جب نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے چہرے کی سفیدی ہمارے سامنے آئی تو ہم نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے چہرے سے زیادہ حسین کوئی منظر کبھی نہیں دیکھا جب وہ ہمارے سامنے ظاہر ہوا۔ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھ سے ابوبکر کو اشارہ فرمایا کہ آگے بڑھیں۔ پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے پردہ ڈال دیا اور ہم آپ کو نہ دیکھ سکے یہاں تک کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا وصال ہو گیا۔
