أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمُؤْمِنُ إِذَا شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَعَرَفَ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي قَبْرِهِ فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا {يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ} »
English Translation
Hadrat al-Bara' (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "When the believer bears witness in his grave that there is no deity but Allah and recognizes Muhammad as the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), that is the meaning of the saying of Allah, Exalted and Majestic: 'Allah makes firm those who believe with the firm word in the life of this world and in the Hereafter.'"
Urdu Translation
حضرت براء رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: «مومن جب اپنی قبر میں گواہی دیتا ہے کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور محمد صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو اللہ کا رسول پہچانتا ہے، تو یہی اللہ جل وعلا کے اس فرمان کا مطلب ہے: 'اللہ ایمان والوں کو پختہ بات پر ثابت رکھتا ہے دنیا کی زندگی میں اور آخرت میں بھی۔'»
