أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ * بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ * إِسْحَاقَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ الْأَسْوَدَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ حَدَّثَهُ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ عَامَّةُ مَا يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ إِلَى الْحُجُرَاتِ»
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Qutaybah al-Muqri informed us, saying: Harun ibn Sahal al-Madani narrated to us, saying: Abd Allah ibn Wahb narrated to us, saying: Ibn Jurayj informed me that he said: Sulayman ibn Musa al-Dimashqi informed me, he said: I met Abu al-Zubayr al-Makki, and I asked him if he had heard anything regarding the virtues of the names of Allah? He said: Yes, I heard Jabir ibn Abd Allah say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Whoever counts the names of Allah the Exalted will enter Paradise.'
