أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ عَنْ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ أَنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ مَيْمُونٍ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ كَانَ فِي مَسْجِدٍ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ فَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ»
English Translation
Ahmad bin Ali bin al-Muthanna narrated to us. He said: Muhammad bin Ja'far narrated to us. He said: Shu'bah narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said: "A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said: 'Display his minor sins to him and withhold his major sins.' So it will be said to him: 'You did such-and-such on such-and-such day, and you did such-and-such on such-and-such day.' He will acknowledge them and will not deny, while he is apprehensive about his major sins. Then it will be said: 'Give him a good deed in place of every evil deed.' He will say: 'O Lord, I have done things that I do not see here!'" Abu Zur'ah said: And I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) laughing until his molars appeared.
Urdu Translation
ہمیں احمد بن علی بن مثنیٰ نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں محمد بن جعفر نے حدیث بیان کی، انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں شعبہ نے قتادہ سے، انہوں نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے، انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: "قیامت کے دن ایک آدمی کو لایا جائے گا، اور کہا جائے گا: 'اس کے چھوٹے گناہ اس کے سامنے پیش کرو اور اس کے بڑے گناہ روک لو۔' پس اس سے کہا جائے گا: 'تو نے فلاں دن فلاں کام کیا، اور تو نے فلاں دن فلاں کام کیا۔' وہ ان کا اقرار کرے گا اور انکار نہیں کرے گا، جبکہ وہ اپنے بڑے گناہوں سے خوفزدہ ہوگا۔ پھر کہا جائے گا: 'ہر برائی کی جگہ اسے نیکی دے دو۔' وہ کہے گا: 'اے رب! میں نے کچھ کام کیے ہیں جو میں یہاں نہیں دیکھ رہا!'" ابو زرعہ نے کہا: اور میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ہنستے ہوئے دیکھا یہاں تک کہ آپ کی داڑھیں ظاہر ہو گئیں۔
