أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا حَسَدَ إِلَّا فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ رَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ الْقُرْآنَ فَهُوَ يَقُومُ بِهِ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَآنَاءَ النَّهَارِ وَرَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ مَالًا فَهُوَ يُنْفِقُ مِنْهُ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَآنَاءَ النَّهَارِ»
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'There is no envy except in two cases: a man to whom Allah has given the Quran and he recites it during the hours of the night and the hours of the day, and a man to whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it during the hours of the night and the hours of the day.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابنِ عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: حسد (رشک) صرف دو شخصوں پر جائز ہے: ایک وہ شخص جسے اللہ نے قرآن دیا ہو اور وہ رات اور دن کی ساعتوں میں اسے پڑھتا رہے، اور دوسرا وہ شخص جسے اللہ نے مال دیا ہو اور وہ رات اور دن کی ساعتوں میں اسے خرچ کرتا رہے۔
