أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةَ وَهِيَ أُمُّ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ هَلْ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ مِنْ غُسْلٍ إِذَا رَأَتِ الْمَاءَ فِي النَّوْمِ مَا يَرَى الرَّجُلُ أَتَغْتَسِلُ أَمْ لَا؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «تَغْتَسِلُ» فَقَالَتْ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَقْبَلْتُ عَلَيْهَا فَقُلْتُ أُفٍّ لَكِ وَهَلْ تَرَى ذَلِكَ الْمَرْأَةُ؟ قَالَتْ فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ « تَرِبَتْ يَمِينُكِ فَمِنْ أَيْنَ يَكُونُ الشَّبَهُ؟ »
English Translation
It is narrated from the wife of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that Umm Sulaim al-Ansariyyah, the mother of Hadrat Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him), said: 'O Messenger of Allah, indeed Allah is not shy of the truth. Is bathing obligatory upon a woman if she sees in her sleep what a man sees? Should she take a bath or not?' The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'She should take a bath.' The wife of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: 'I turned to her and said: Shame on you! Does a woman experience that?' She said: Then the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) turned to her and stated: 'May your right hand be dusty! Then from where does the resemblance come?'
Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی زوجہ مطہرہ سے روایت ہے کہ اُمّ سلیم انصاریہ جو حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کی والدہ ہیں، نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! اللہ تعالیٰ حق سے نہیں شرماتا، کیا عورت پر غسل واجب ہے جب وہ خواب میں وہ دیکھے جو مرد دیکھتا ہے؟ کیا وہ غسل کرے یا نہیں؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: غسل کرے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی زوجہ مطہرہ نے فرمایا: میں نے ان کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر کہا: تم پر افسوس ہے! کیا عورت بھی ایسا دیکھتی ہے؟ پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر ارشاد فرمایا: تیرے ہاتھ خاک آلود ہوں! پھر مشابہت کہاں سے آتی ہے؟
