أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ فَغَرَفَ غَرْفَةً فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثُمَّ غَرَفَ غَرْفَةً فَغَسَلَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى ثُمَّ غَرَفَ غَرْفَةً فَغَسَلَ يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى ثُمَّ غَرَفَ غَرْفَةً فَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ دَاخِلَهُمَا بِالسَّبَّابَتَيْنِ وَخَالَفَ بِإِبْهَامَيْهِ إِلَى ظَاهِرِ أُذُنَيْهِ فَمَسَحَ ظَاهِرَهُمَا وَبَاطِنَهُمَا ثُمَّ غَرَفَ غَرْفَةً فَغَسَلَ رِجْلَهُ الْيُمْنَى ثُمَّ غَرَفَ غَرْفَةً فَغَسَلَ رِجْلَهُ الْيُسْرَى»
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) performed wudu: he scooped a handful and washed his face, then scooped a handful and washed his right hand, then scooped a handful and washed his left hand, then scooped a handful and wiped his head and his ears — the inside with his index fingers while placing his thumbs on the outside, wiping their outer and inner parts. Then he scooped a handful and washed his right foot, then scooped a handful and washed his left foot.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے وضو کیا: ایک چلو پانی لیا اور چہرہ دھویا، پھر ایک چلو لیا اور دایاں ہاتھ دھویا، پھر ایک چلو لیا اور بایاں ہاتھ دھویا، پھر ایک چلو لیا اور سر اور کانوں کا مسح کیا — کانوں کے اندر شہادت کی انگلیوں سے اور انگوٹھے کانوں کے باہر رکھے، باہر اور اندر کا مسح کیا۔ پھر ایک چلو لیا اور دایاں پاؤں دھویا، پھر ایک چلو لیا اور بایاں پاؤں دھویا۔
