أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الضَّبِّيُّ وَأَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُمَيٌّ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلَاءِ وَدَرْكِ الشَّقَاءِ وَسُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ وَشَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَاءِ» *
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to seek refuge from the severity of trial, the depths of misery, the evil of destiny, and the gloating of enemies.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم آزمائش کی سختی، بدبختی کے گڑھے، تقدیر کی برائی اور دشمنوں کی شماتت سے پناہ مانگا کرتے تھے۔
