أَخْبَرْنَاهُ الشَّيْخُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ ثَنَا أَبُو عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ قَالَا ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِهِ وَزَادَ فِيهِ فَقَالَ الْحَجَّاجُ صَدَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَصَدَقْتِ أَنَا الْمُبِيرُ أُبِيرُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» صحيح
English Translation
The same hadith was narrated with the addition: Al-Hajjaj then said: "The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) spoke the truth, and you spoke the truth. I am the destroyer — I destroy the hypocrites." This is a hadith whose chain of transmission is authentic, though they (al-Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
Urdu Translation
اسی حدیث کو ان الفاظ کے اضافے کے ساتھ روایت کیا گیا: پھر حجاج نے کہا: «رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے سچ فرمایا اور آپ نے سچ فرمایا۔ میں مبیر (ہلاک کرنے والا) ہوں — میں منافقوں کو ہلاک کرتا ہوں۔» یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے مگر انہوں نے اسے روایت نہیں کیا۔
