حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ قَالَا ثَنَا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الثَّوْرِيُّ ثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا ذَكَرَ السَّاعَةَ احْمَرَّتْ وَجْنَتَاهُ وَاشْتَدَّ غَضَبُهُ وَعَلَا صَوْتُهُ كَأَنَّهُ مُنْذِرُ جَيْشٍ يَقُولُ «صَبَّحَكُمْ مَسَّاكُمْ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir ibn 'Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated: Whenever the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) mentioned the Hour, his cheeks would redden, his anger would intensify, and his voice would rise as though he were warning of an approaching army, saying: "It shall come upon you in the morning! It shall come upon you in the evening!" This is a hadith that is authentic according to the criteria of al-Bukhari and Muslim, though they did not record it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن عبد اللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب قیامت کا ذکر فرماتے تو آپ کے رخسار سرخ ہو جاتے، غضب شدید ہوتا اور آواز بلند ہو جاتی، گویا آپ کسی لشکر سے خبردار کر رہے ہیں اور فرماتے: «صبح آنے والی ہے! شام آنے والی ہے!» یہ حدیث شیخین کی شرط پر صحیح ہے مگر انہوں نے اسے روایت نہیں کیا۔
