أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ الْقَنْطَرِيُّ بِهَا ثَنَا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ ثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رُكَانَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَمْ يُوَقِّتْ فِي الْخَمْرِ حَدًّا» قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ شَرِبَ رَجُلٌ فَسَكِرَ فَثَمِلَ فِي الْفَجِّ فَانْطَلَقْنَا بِهِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَلَمَّا حَاذَى بِدَارِ الْعَبَّاسِ انْفَلَتَ فَدَخَلَ عَلَى الْعَبَّاسِ فَالْتَزَمَهُ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَضَحِكَ وَقَالَ «أَفَعَلَهَا؟» وَلَمْ يَأْمُرْ فِيهِ بِشَيْءٍ
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not fix a specific number for the prescribed punishment for wine. Ibn Abbas said: A man drank and became intoxicated, then was found staggering on the road. He was brought to the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and when he reached the house of Abbas, he broke free and entered upon Abbas. The Prophet asked about him and Abbas told him. He smiled and did not command anything regarding him.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے شراب میں حد مقرر نہیں فرمائی تھی۔ ابن عباس نے کہا: ایک شخص نے شراب پی اور نشے میں ہو گیا، پھر راستے میں لڑکھڑاتا ہوا پایا گیا۔ اسے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس لایا گیا اور جب عباس کے گھر پہنچا تو چھوٹ کر عباس کے پاس چلا گیا۔ آپ نے اس کے بارے میں پوچھا تو عباس نے بتایا۔ آپ مسکرائے اور اس کے بارے میں کوئی حکم نہیں دیا۔
