حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ بِمَرْو ثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْبَلْخِيُّ ثَنَا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ نِعْمَتَانِ مَغْبُونٌ فِيهِمَا كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ الصِّحَّةُ وَالْفَرَاغُ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» ذا في البخاري
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "There are two blessings in which many people are cheated: health and free time." This is a hadith whose chain of transmission is authentic according to the condition of the two Shaykhs [al-Bukhari and Muslim], though neither recorded it. This is in al-Bukhari.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: «دو نعمتیں ہیں جن میں بہت سے لوگ دھوکے میں ہیں: صحت اور فراغت۔» یہ حدیث شیخین کی شرط پر صحیح ہے مگر انہوں نے اسے روایت نہیں کیا۔ یہ بخاری میں ہے۔
