حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ قَالَا ثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو مَوْلَى ابْنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ النَّذْرَ لَا يُقَرِّبُ مِنَ ابْنِ آدَمَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَكُنِ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى قَدَّرَهُ لَهُ وَلَكِنَّ النَّذْرَ يُوَافِقُ الْقَدَرَ فَيُسْتَخْرَجُ بِذَلِكَ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ مَا لَمْ يَكُنِ الْبَخِيلُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُخْرِجَهُ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ بِهَذِهِ السِّيَاقَةِ على شرط مسلم
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayra (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Indeed, a vow does not bring anything closer to the son of Adam that Allah, the Exalted, had not already decreed for him. Rather, the vow coincides with destiny, and through it is extracted from the miser what the miser would not have wished to give." This is a hadith whose chain of transmission is authentic according to the condition of Muslim, though neither [al-Bukhari nor Muslim] recorded it with this wording. According to the condition of Muslim.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: «بیشک نذر ابنِ آدم کے لیے کوئی ایسی چیز قریب نہیں لاتی جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس کے لیے مقدر نہ کی ہو۔ بلکہ نذر تقدیر کے موافق ہوتی ہے اور اس کے ذریعے بخیل سے وہ چیز نکالی جاتی ہے جو بخیل نکالنا نہیں چاہتا تھا۔» یہ حدیث مسلم کی شرط پر صحیح ہے مگر انہوں نے اسے اس سیاق سے روایت نہیں کیا۔ مسلم کی شرط پر۔
