حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ السَّلُولِيُّ أَنْبَأَ إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ «كَانَ مُؤَذِّنُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يُؤَذِّنُ ثُمَّ يُمْهِلُ فَإِذَا رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَدْ أَقْبَلْ أَخَذَ فِي الْإِقَامَةِ» «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط مسلم
English Translation
Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us... from Hadrat Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: "The mu'adhdhin of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would call the adhan and then wait. When he saw the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) approaching, he would begin the iqamah." This is an authentic hadith upon the condition of Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj, yet the two Shaykhs did not record it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ "حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا مؤذن اذان دیتا پھر انتظار کرتا۔ جب وہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو تشریف لاتے دیکھتا تو اقامت شروع کرتا۔" یہ حدیث امام مسلم بن الحجاج کی شرط پر صحیح ہے مگر شیخین نے اسے تخریج نہیں کیا۔
