حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الزَّاهِدُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَهْدِيِّ بْنِ رُسْتُمٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ الْكِلَابِيُّ ثنا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «صَلَاةُ الْمَرْأَةِ فِي بَيْتِهَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِهَا فِي حُجْرَتِهَا وَصَلَاتُهَا فِي مَخْدَعِهَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِهَا فِي بَيْتِهَا» «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَقَدِ احْتَجَّا جَمِيعًا بِالْمُوَرِّقِ بْنِ مُشَمْرِجِ الْعِجْلِيِّ» على شرطهما
English Translation
Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Ahmad al-Zahid al-Asbahani narrated to us... from Hadrat Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "A woman's prayer in her house is better than her prayer in her courtyard, and her prayer in her private chamber is better than her prayer in her house." This is an authentic hadith upon the conditions of the two Shaykhs, yet they did not record it. They both cited al-Muwarriq ibn Mushamrij al-Ijli as authority.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ (بن مسعود) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت ہے کہ ارشاد فرمایا: "عورت کی اپنے گھر میں نماز اس کے صحن میں نماز سے افضل ہے اور اس کے مخدع (خلوت خانے) میں نماز اس کے گھر میں نماز سے افضل ہے۔" یہ حدیث شیخین کی شرط پر صحیح ہے مگر انہوں نے اسے تخریج نہیں کیا۔ دونوں نے مورق بن مشمرج العجلی سے احتجاج کیا ہے۔
