أَخْبَرَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ قَالَ لَمَّا بُنِيَ الْبَيْتُ كَانَ النَّاسُ يَنْقُلُونَ الْحِجَارَةَ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَنْقُلُ مَعَهُمْ فَأَخَذَ الثَّوْبَ وَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ فَنُودِيَ «لَا تَكْشِفْ عَوْرَتَكَ» فَأَلْقَى الْحَجَرَ وَلَبِسَ ثَوْبَهُ «وَ
English Translation
Hadrat Abu al-Tufayl (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: When the House [the Ka'ba] was being rebuilt, the people were carrying stones and the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was carrying with them. He took his garment and placed it on his shoulder, whereupon a voice called out: "Do not expose your nakedness!" So he dropped the stone and put on his garment.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: جب بیت اللہ کی تعمیر ہورہی تھی تو لوگ پتھر اٹھا رہے تھے اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بھی ان کے ساتھ اٹھا رہے تھے۔ آپ نے اپنا کپڑا اتار کر کندھے پر رکھا تو آواز آئی: "اپنا ستر مت کھولو!" تو آپ نے پتھر رکھ دیا اور اپنا کپڑا پہن لیا۔
