حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ السَّمَّاكِ ثنا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْأَسَدِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالُوا ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْمَلِيحِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ قَالَ كَمَا يَقُولُ حَتَّى يَسْكُتَ «» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ بِإِسْنَادٍ صَحِيحٍ
English Translation
Abu Amr Uthman ibn Ahmad ibn al-Sammak narrated to us... from Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Umm Habibah (may Allah be well pleased with her) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), whenever he heard the mu'adhdhin, would repeat what he said until he fell silent. This is an authentic hadith upon the conditions of the two Shaykhs, yet they did not record it. It has a supporting narration with an authentic chain.
Urdu Translation
اُمّ المؤمنین حضرت اُمّ حبیبہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب مؤذن کو سنتے تو اس کی طرح کہتے یہاں تک کہ وہ خاموش ہو جاتا۔ یہ حدیث شیخین کی شرط پر صحیح ہے مگر انہوں نے اسے تخریج نہیں کیا۔ صحیح سند کے ساتھ اس کی شاہد ہے۔
