حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَمَرَ بِلَالًا أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الْأَذَانَ وَيُوتِرَ الْإِقَامَةَ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ أَسْنَدَهُ إِمَامُ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ وَمُزَكِّي الرُّوَاةِ بِلَا مُدَافَعَةٍ وَقَدْ تَابَعَهُ عَلَيْهِ الثِّقَةُ الْمَأْمُونُ قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍوهو على شرط الشيخين
English Translation
Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us... from Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) "ordered Hadrat Bilal (may Allah be well pleased with him) to make the phrases of the adhan in pairs and the iqamah in single phrases." This hadith was attributed by the imam of hadith scholars and authenticator of narrators without dispute. Qutaybah ibn Sa'id, the trustworthy and reliable, corroborated it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے "حضرت بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو حکم فرمایا کہ اذان کے الفاظ جوڑے میں کہیں اور اقامت کے الفاظ اکہرے کہیں۔" یہ حدیث اہلِ حدیث کے امام اور رواۃ کے مزکی نے بلا اختلاف مسند کی ہے۔ ثقہ مامون قتیبہ بن سعید نے اس کی متابعت کی ہے۔
