أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ الْقَنْطَرِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ ثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ وَبْرِ بْنِ أَبِي دُلَيْلَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَيْمُونَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَيُّ الْوَاجِدِ يُحِلُّ عِرْضَهُ وَعُقُوبَتَهُ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح
English Translation
Hadrat al-Sharid (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'The delay of the wealthy one (in paying his debt) makes his honour and punishment permissible.' This hadith has a sound chain of narration, though neither [Bukhari nor Muslim] have recorded it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت شرید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'مالدار شخص کا قرض ادا کرنے میں ٹال مٹول کرنا اس کی عزت اور سزا کو حلال کر دیتا ہے۔' یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے اور انہوں نے اسے نکالا نہیں۔
