[Machine] From the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, he said: "Tayammum consists of two strikes, one for the face and one for the hands up to the elbows." The two sheikhs (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) agreed on the hadith of Al-Hakam, on the authority of Tharr, on the authority of Sa'id ibn Abdur-Rahman ibn Abza, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Umar regarding Tayammum, and they did not mention it in this wording. And I do not know anyone who attributed it to Ubaidullah other than Ali ibn Zabyan, and he is truthful, and he was narrated by Yahya ibn Sa'id and Hisham ibn Basheer and others. And Malik ibn Anas attributed it to Nafi' in Al-Muwatta' in a different wording, except that my condition in the chain of narrators of the truthful hadith, when others narrate it, is different. حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى الْحِيرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَرَشِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ظَبْيَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ التَّيَمُّمُ ضَرْبَتَانِ ضَرْبَةٌ لِلْوَجْهِ وَضَرْبَةٌ لِلْيَدَيْنِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ «» قَدِ اتَّفَقَ الشَّيْخَانِ عَلَى حَدِيثِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ ذَرٍّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ فِي التَّيَمُّمِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَسْنَدَهُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ غَيْرَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ ظَبْيَانَ وَهُوَ صَدُوقٌ وَقَدْ أَوْقَفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَهُشَيْمُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ وَغَيْرُهُمَا وَقَدْ أَوْقَفَهُ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ فِي الْمُوَطَّأِ بِغَيْرِ هَذَا اللَّفْظِ غَيْرَ أَنَّ شَرْطِي فِي سَنَدِ الصَّدُوقِ الْحَدِيثَ إِذَا وَقَفَهُ غَيْرُهُ
