حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ثنا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «نَهَى أَنْ يَدْخُلَ الرَّجُلُ الْمَاءَ إِلَّا بِمِئْزَرٍ» «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط مسلم
English Translation
Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us... from Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade a man from entering the water except with a waist-wrapper. This is a hadith authentic according to the conditions of the two Shaykhs, yet they did not record it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے منع فرمایا کہ کوئی شخص بغیر تہبند کے پانی میں داخل ہو۔ یہ حدیث شیخین کی شرط پر صحیح ہے مگر انہوں نے اسے تخریج نہیں کیا۔
