أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْخُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حِسَابٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَوْرٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى {فَإِمَّا نَذْهَبَنَّ بِكَ فَإِنَّا مِنْهُمْ مُنْتَقِمُونَ} [الزخرف 41] فَقَالَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ «ذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَبَقِيَتِ النِّقْمَةُ وَلَمْ يُرِ اللَّهُ نَبِيَّهُ ﷺ فِي أُمَّتِهِ شَيْئًا يَكْرَهُهُ حَتَّى مَضَى وَلَمْ يَكُنْ نَبِيٌّ إِلَّا وَقَدْ رَأَى الْعُقُوبَةَ فِي أُمَّتِهِ إِلَّا نَبِيُّكُمْ ﷺ» صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح
English Translation
The Shaykh Abu Bakr ibn Ishaq informed us — al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Ziyad narrated to us — Muhammad ibn Ubayd ibn Hisab narrated to us — Muhammad ibn Thawr narrated to us — from Ma'mar — from Qatada regarding the saying of Allah Most High: {And if We should take you away [in death], indeed We will take retribution upon them} [al-Zukhruf 43:41]. He said: Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) departed, and the retribution remained. Allah did not show His Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) anything in his nation that he would dislike until he passed away. There was no prophet except that he witnessed the punishment in his nation, except your Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)." It has an authentic chain of narration, though they did not narrate it.
Urdu Translation
شیخ ابو بکر بن اسحاق نے ہمیں خبر دی — حسن بن علی بن زیاد نے ہم سے بیان کیا — محمد بن عبید بن حساب نے ہم سے بیان کیا — محمد بن ثور نے ہم سے بیان کیا — معمر سے — قتادہ سے اللہ تعالیٰ کے فرمان {اور اگر ہم آپ کو لے جائیں تو بے شک ہم اُن سے انتقام لینے والے ہیں} [الزخرف 43:41] کے بارے میں۔ فرمایا: حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم تشریف لے گئے اور عذاب باقی رہا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو اُن کی اُمت میں کوئی ایسی چیز نہیں دکھائی جو آپ کو ناپسند ہو یہاں تک کہ آپ رحلت فرما گئے۔ کوئی نبی ایسا نہیں تھا جس نے اپنی اُمت میں عذاب نہ دیکھا ہو سوائے تمہارے نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے۔ یہ صحیح الاسناد ہے، مگر اُنہوں نے اسے روایت نہیں کیا۔
