حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ ﷻ {فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ} [آل عمران 53] قَالَ «مَعَ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَأُمَّتُهُ شَهِدُوا لَهُ بِالْبَلَاغِ وَشَهِدُوا لِلرُّسُلِ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ بَلَّغُوا» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ صحيح
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated regarding the saying of Allah Most High: 'So write us among the witnesses' (Surah Al Imran, 53). He stated: This means with the Ummah of the Beloved Messenger of Allah Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and his Ummah bore witness for him regarding the conveyance (of the message) and bore witness for the Messengers that they had indeed conveyed (their messages). This is an authentic hadith in its chain of narration, though they (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے اللہ تعالیٰ کے فرمان کے بارے میں روایت ہے: 'پس ہمیں گواہوں میں لکھ لے' (سورۃ آل عمران، 53)۔ فرمایا: یعنی حضور نبی اکرم محمد صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی امت کے ساتھ، اور آپ کی امت نے آپ کے لیے تبلیغ کی گواہی دی اور رسولوں کے لیے گواہی دی کہ انہوں نے بے شک پیغام پہنچا دیا۔ یہ حدیث اسناد میں صحیح ہے مگر انہوں نے اسے روایت نہیں کیا۔
