حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو نَوْفَلِ بْنُ أَبِي عَقْرَبٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُعْجِبُهُ الْجَوَامِعُ مِنَ الدُّعَاءِ وَيَتْرُكُ مَا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ
English Translation
Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat A'isha (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to prefer comprehensive supplications and would leave aside what was between them (i.e., lengthy, detailed supplications). This hadith has a sound chain of narration, though they did not record it.
Urdu Translation
اُمّ المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو جامع دعائیں (مختصر مگر معنی خیز) پسند تھیں اور جو اِن کے درمیان ہوتیں (یعنی طویل تفصیلی دعائیں) انہیں چھوڑ دیتے۔ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن انہوں نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا۔
